Aobai was a Manchurian nobleman, who followed his uncle to fight on the battlefield in his early years, and his military achievements were outstanding, and he followed the Emperor Taiji to create Jiangshan and was the founding hero of the Qing Dynasty. Later, he was appointed to assist the young Kangxi Emperor, and because of his arrogance, disobedience to government orders, and many wrong things, he was eliminated by the young Kangxi Emperor in one fell swoop, and his strong personality was notorious.
Since Ao Bai dared to openly argue with the emperor, he naturally had his weight, and even if he was a heavy minister of the imperial court, he also held a large amount of military power. After the death of Emperor Taiji, the heir to the throne has been obscure, and the two most powerful of them are Prince Su, the eldest son of Emperor Taiji, and Dolgun, the younger brother of Emperor Taiji.
Ao Bai naturally supported Prince Su, the eldest son of Emperor Taiji, who had led his army around the palace in the court, and according to the sword, these courtiers swore to die to support the son of the former emperor, so as to repay the favor of the former emperor, and if anyone wanted to oppose them, they would not hesitate to meet each other with swords.
This sentence was actually said to Dorgon, to give Dolgun a dismount. And Dorgon was really afraid to get here, so he didn't dare to fight for the throne too blatantly. Unable to ascend to the throne himself, he proposed to establish Fu Lin, the ninth son of Emperor Taiji, as emperor, and both sides accepted this compromise, and Fu Lin took the throne, that is, the Shunzhi Emperor, who was still facing the threat of anti-Qing restoration, and Ao bai played an indelible contribution to consolidating the status of the Qing Dynasty.
The struggle between Dorgon and Aobai is not over, Dorgon and Hauge are opponents, and it is Hauge who supports Aobai, and the two also start a struggle. Dorgon was a very capable man, and during his regency, he tried every means to persecute Aobai. Aobai was persecuted by Dorgon a total of three times.
This first time was in the early years of Shunzhi, when Aobai followed Azig around in battle, and repeatedly performed miraculous feats, but Azig was the uncle of the Shunzhi Emperor, and he looked down on his nephew very much, and often called him "widow", and when Azig passed on the edict, he had the word "widow", and when Aobai was in charge of passing on the order, he did not upload it, and as a result, he was punished and almost dismissed.
The second time was during the five years of Shunzhi, when Ao Bai and others were accused of the establishment of Hauge, Dorgon took advantage of this storm to make a big fuss, and Ao Bai was also killed and dismissed from his post as a civilian. Even after the death of Emperor Taiji, some people accused Ao Bai of sending troops without authorization, it can be seen that at this time, some people saw that Ao Bai was not pleasing to the eye very early, and deliberately provoked the thorn after the death of Emperor Taiji, wanting to knock down Ao Bai, from these repeated denunciations, it can be seen that due to Ao Bai's style of conduct, in time he had military achievements, he would also be persecuted, and Ao Bai's life path was also full of bumps.
The third persecution was in the seventh year of Shunzhi, after Dorgon fell ill, found an opportunity to cure Aobai of a crime of concealment, was sentenced to death, and later exempted from capital crimes and demoted to his post.
Ao Bai's loyalty to Emperor Taiji and the Shunzhi Emperor was unquestionable, but he was also trapped in the quagmire of power struggle, which is why he died three times in his life and finally became the weight of the imperial power struggle.
