After Jordan was drafted by the Bulls with the third pick in the first round in 1984, Jordan began his 15-year NBA career, during which time he won six championships, five regular season MVPs, six Finals MVPs, eleven All-NBA All-NBAs, 10-time All-Defensive Team, three-time steal king, 10-time scoring champion and other honors. The first to steal his scoring title was Bernard King of the New York Knicks in the 1984-1985 season. This was the first season of Jordan's career, and he played in 82 games this season, finishing with 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists. That's more than the average points per game of the seven scoring champions. Only four players won the scoring title in their rookie season: Joe Fox, George McCann, Chamberlain and Ervin Hayes, and unfortunately Jordan didn't make it to the fifth.
