Jordan won 10 scoring titles in 15 seasons in his career, and who snatched the remaining 5

author:Veteran pseudo-fan of the NBA

After Jordan was drafted by the Bulls with the third pick in the first round in 1984, Jordan began his 15-year NBA career, during which time he won six championships, five regular season MVPs, six Finals MVPs, eleven All-NBA All-NBAs, 10-time All-Defensive Team, three-time steal king, 10-time scoring champion and other honors. Ten of those scoring titles is considered one of the NBA's hardest records, and the closest to him is Chamberlain's seven, followed by Durant, Iverson, and Gerving's four. Since Jordan's scoring ability is so strong, who has robbed him of the five scoring titles in his career?

The first to steal his scoring title was Bernard King of the New York Knicks in the 1984-1985 season. This was the first season of Jordan's career, and he played in 82 games this season, finishing with 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists. That's more than the average points per game of the seven scoring champions. Only four players won the scoring title in their rookie season: Joe Fox, George McCann, Chamberlain and Ervin Hayes, and unfortunately Jordan didn't make it to the fifth. Bernard King was first with 32.9 points, Larry Bird was second with 28.7 points, and Jordan was third.

The second to steal his scoring title was Dominic Wilkins of the Atlanta Hawks in the 1985-1986 season. The top three scorers were: Wilkins with 30.3 points, Dantley with 29.8 points, and English with 29.8 points. Jordan only played in 18 games due to injury this year, averaging only 22.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game, missing the top 10 in the scoring list, which was also the second lowest score in Jordan's career, and started his seventh consecutive scoring title.

The third to steal his scoring title was O'Neal, the Magic's big shark from the 1994-1995 season. This year, O'Neal was full of glory, won the scoring title for the first time, was selected for the second team of the All-America team for the first time, and led the team to the finals for the first time. The top three scorers this year were: O'Neal with 29.3 points, Olajuwon with 27.8 points and David Robinson with 27.6 points. Jordan only played 17 games due to injuries, averaging 26.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game, and was not eligible to participate in the selection due to insufficient games.

The fourth to steal Jordan's scoring title was Iverson of the 76ers from 2001 to 2002. In the first season of the 38-year-old Jordan's transfer to the Wizards, although he could still average 22.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game, he finally lost in the face of the four quarterbacks. The top three scorers were: Iverson with 31.4 points, O'Neal with 27.2 points, and Pierce with 26.1 points, with Maddy, Kobe, and Carter ranking fourth, sixth, and seventh respectively, and Jordan ranking ninth.

The fifth to steal Jordan's scoring title was Maddy from the Magic in the 2002-2003 season. This is the last season of Jordan's career, and he still contributed in 82 games: 20.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists. But after all, old people can't do young people, this year is the craziest season of the big four, the top three scoring champions are: Maddie 32.1 points, Kobe Bryant 30.0 points, Iverson 27.6 points. Carter's injury affected only 43 games, averaging 20.6 points per game.

From the above data, it can be seen that Jordan is getting older in the last two seasons except for the first season of adaptation, and the other two seasons did not win the scoring championship because of injuries, otherwise, the number of scoring champions may increase. This also directly explains why Jordan is known as the god of basketball!!
