According to the announcement issued by the Highways Authority of Thailand (EXAT), on May 10, a total of 60 toll stations on 3 expressways in Thailand will be exempted from tolls, as follows:

1. Chalem Mahanakon Highway (19 toll booths in total)

2. Sirat Expressway (31 toll stations in total)

3. Udon Ratthaya Expressway (10 toll stations in total)

Not only that, there are three public holidays for Thai people in May, namely May 4 is the coronation anniversary of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, the 10th King of Thailand, May 10 is the Spring Ploughing Festival, and May 22 is Vesak Day, all of which will be exempted from highway tolls. Therefore, it means that the Thai people will be able to enjoy free access to the expressway again on the next 22nd.
