On June 9, a traffic accident occurred in Tai Po, Hong Kong. At about 13 o'clock on the same day, a Tesla car collided with a seven-seater car driving in the wrong direction on Sam Mun Tsai Road, Tai Po, resulting in one death and five injuries. Nandu reporters learned that the 52-year-old male driver of the seven-seater car was arrested for causing the death of others involved in dangerous driving, and is now being detained for investigation.

It is reported that in the incident, except for the female driver surnamed Liao (34 years old) who was injured in the Tesla vehicle, the rest of the dead and injured were all members of a family of five in the seven-person car, including the arrested male driver, his father-in-law surnamed Fan (81 years old) sitting in the front seat, the mother-in-law surnamed Zhu (79 years old) on the left of the middle row, the wife surnamed Fan (53 years old) on the right side of the middle row, and the daughter surnamed Yang (18 years old) on the right side of the back row, and the mother-in-law died after being sent to the hospital.

The case was handed over to Team 1 of the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, NTN for follow-up investigation. The police said that at 13:13 on the 9th, a 52-year-old man drove a private car along Sam Mun Tsai Road towards Sam Mun Tsai, with one male and three female passengers on the car, aged between 18 and 81.

It is learnt that when the private car drove to the opposite side of No. 3 Yue On Street, it collided head-on with a private car driven by a 34-year-old woman head-on in the direction of Ting Kok Road. The 79-year-old female passenger on the bus, who had no superficial injuries, was taken to the hospital after being in a coma and was confirmed dead at 14:19.

The 81-year-old male passenger on the bus suffered chest pain and was taken to hospital after falling into a coma, after which he regained consciousness. The male driver, the female driver and two other passengers were taken to hospital after being taken to hospital in conscious condition.
