Since the launch of the fourth national cultural relics survey, Wei County, as a provincial-level pilot county determined by the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, has quickly organized professional forces to conduct in-depth field surveys and surveys, do a good job in data collection, and further find out the "family background" of cultural relics resources, so that the management of cultural relics can be "checked". At present, a comprehensive field survey has been carried out on 30 villages in Songjiazhuang Town, of which 78 immovable cultural relics have been reviewed, and 37 immovable cultural relics such as Shangli School, Women's Theater, and Liaojin Ruins have been newly discovered.

In accordance with the work requirements of "protection first, strengthening management, excavating value, effective utilization, and making cultural relics come alive", the cultural relics survey will conduct on-the-spot survey of the immovable cultural relics on the ground and underground in Wei County, including ancient ruins, ancient tombs, ancient buildings, petroglyphs and inscriptions, important historical sites and representative buildings in modern and modern times, focusing on the name of the census object, spatial location, protection level, cultural relics category, age, ownership, use, preservation status, etc. The registered immovable cultural relics shall be reviewed, and the newly discovered immovable cultural relics shall be investigated, identified and registered at the same time to ensure that the results of the census fully and objectively reflect the status of cultural relics resources.

On April 11 this year, the field survey work officially began, and the census team members were composed of key members of the Wei County Cultural Relics Management Institute, and the cadres of the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau in the village served as volunteers to assist the census team members in carrying out their work. The census of cultural relics has been greatly improved at the technical level, and the census takers use the "Fourth National Cultural Relics Census Data Collection Software" to carry out on-the-spot photography, positioning, measurement and other information collection work, and the coordinates of cultural relics have achieved high-precision positioning. The census will also establish a database of immovable cultural relics resources in the city, mark the spatial distribution, associate the census data, and share it with the supervision information system for the implementation of the "one map" of land and space planning, so as to provide a basis for the management of cultural relics resources and dynamic monitoring.
The cultural relics survey team has successively gone deep into the pilot towns of Songjiazhuang Town, Lujiazhuang Village, Songjiazhuang, Shangsuzhuang and other villages to carry out propaganda and mobilization and collect clues on cultural relics, so that the masses and all walks of life can fully understand the important significance, main content and method requirements of the cultural relics census, and create a good atmosphere for the whole society to actively support and actively participate in the census work.

It is understood that Wei County is a national-level historical and cultural city, with 2 national historical and cultural towns, 8 famous villages, 47 national-level traditional villages, 42 provincial-level historical and cultural villages, and 345 ancient castles. The county has registered 1,639 immovable cultural relics, including 22 national key cultural relics protection units, 23 provincial cultural relics protection units, and 89 county-level cultural relics protection units, especially the large number of ancient buildings, complete types, known as "Hebei Province Ancient Architecture Art Museum".
