The prerequisite for using this feature is that the video clip is added to the main track (the track with the word "cover" in front of the track)!
Select this video clip in the main track, then check "Background Fill", you can use "Blur, Color or Style", choose one according to your needs.

Video editing software has a hierarchical relationship, the higher the level, the more priority is displayed, the largest level is equivalent to the role of the top, and the material on the main track is equivalent to the role of the bottom.
In Jianying, there is no hierarchy in the main track, and if you place footage on this track, it will always be at the bottom; The track above the main track is hierarchical!
In the second scenario, the key changes the background
Use the smart keying or custom keying function to cut out the people in the video, and then use either of the two methods introduced above to change the background, as shown in the following figure;
