In the past few days, the investment of more than 17 million yuan in Heping Township Chaqu to Machangtai Rural Tourism Highway Project is in full swing to step up construction, this rural road that is regarded as the road to prosperity by the local people is being closed at a speed visible to the naked eye, and is expected to be completely completed by the end of June.
The newly built Tea Horse Rural Tourism Highway, also known as Rainbow Road by the local people, is 6.5 meters wide, paved with asphalt concrete, divided by red, yellow and blue color lines, with a total length of 14.9 kilometers from east to west, and a design speed of 15 to 40 kilometers per hour. It starts from Xiaogaoling Village in Huangyuan County in the west, connects with National Highway 109, passes through Chaqu, Baishui, Majiawan, Machangtai and other villages in Heping Township, and ends at Huashishan Ecological Scenic Spot with dense forests and rugged mountains.
After the completion of the Tea Horse Rural Tourism Highway, it will provide a better travel experience for more than 2,000 villagers and tourists along the route, further promote the rural tourism and characteristic industries of Heping Township, and open up a new path for the common prosperity of the village.
