On the morning of June 28, at the construction site of the first phase of the project of Rongrong Avenue in Jiaozhou City, across the Qingyan, Jiaohuang Railway and Qinglan Expressway, with the completion of the last car of concrete pouring and the smooth hoisting of the last prefabricated box girder, the two main interchange main bridges of the first phase of the Rongrong Avenue project were completed, laying a solid foundation for the opening of the whole line.

At 8:40, with the order of the on-site commander, two concrete pump trucks and two 300-ton cranes roared to start, a truck of concrete was poured onto the roof, and the last piece of 30-meter-long, 122-ton prefabricated box girder was slowly lifted. At 9:30, the cast-in-place box girder was poured, and the prefabricated box girder was also successfully settled, marking the closure of the main line bridge of the first phase of the Fusion Avenue project.

Convergence Avenue starts from Xiangjiang Road in the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone in the east to Zhuzhu Road in Puji Town in the west, with a total length of about 35.86 kilometers, and the design standard is a first-class highway and urban road, with six lanes in both directions. As a transportation artery planned and constructed in Jiaozhou City, after the completion of the Fusion Avenue, it can connect the main urban area of Qingdao through the Bay Bridge connection line to the east and the Weifang area through the Mingdong Expressway connection line to the west, which will realize the interconnection and efficient connection between the Shanghai Cooperation International City and Kaos New Town, and provide transportation support for the high-quality development of the "five new cities" in Jiaozhou City. At the same time, it will further expand the urban development space and promote the economic integration and development of Yanghe, Licha and Puji southwest towns. At the same time, it provides a solid transportation guarantee for the integrated development of Qingdao metropolitan area.

The first phase of the project under construction is the section from Xiangjiang Road to Jiulong Sub-district Office in the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone, which is 6.6 kilometers long and will be implemented in three sections. Three of the bid sections have been opened to traffic, and the prestressed concrete cantilever bridge with the largest span in Asia has been successfully turned around last year. The remaining 2.35 kilometers of interchange is the key node of the first phase of the project, and its main line bridge is 2,353 meters long, using prefabricated prestressed concrete box girders and cast-in-situ prestressed concrete box girders.

"In order to ensure the normal passage of highway vehicles during the construction process, the construction of the upper span adopts the door opening + disc buckle full hall support scheme, and organizes experts, road administration, traffic police and high-speed maintenance units to carry out program demonstration, review and desktop rehearsal." Lv Yuejun, a member of the party group and deputy director of the Jiaozhou Transportation Bureau, introduced that the closure of the main line bridge of the first phase of the project means that the construction of the first phase of the integration avenue has entered the final stage.
