Warhammer 40K Space Marines 2 was originally scheduled to launch a beta test before its release on September 9, but developer Saber Interactive officially announced the cancellation of the game's beta testing, officially explaining that all the energy needed to be put into preparing for the full release.
Saber Interactive has announced that in order for Warhammer 40K Space Marines 2 to be released on September 9th, the development team will need to fully focus on optimizations and refinements. Therefore, the development team cannot hold a beta test before the game is released. As compensation for the Life-Saving Beta players, players who sign up before June 28, 2024 will receive a limited-edition "Blaster Pistol" skin in the game.
Warhammer 40K Space Marines 2 will feature a 12-hour campaign in the game, where players will continue to play as Tetus, now an adjutant, and fight against the enemies of the Empire on the planet Avarix alongside his battle brothers Sharon and Gabriel. On top of that, the game also comes with a PVE "Ops Mode" that can be played over and over again, allowing players to choose from 6 maps to fight. Of course, it also includes the PVP mode "Eternal War", in which players can play as Chaos Space Marines and experience 6v6 annihilation, occupation and other confrontation gameplay.
