On June 28, the 9th Houlang Forum was held in Hanyuan Hotel, Nanjing Agricultural University. Professor Zhang Jianqiang of Iowa State University shared the "Epidemic Status and Purification Strategy of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome in the United States", explaining the epidemic of PRRSV in the United States, the SDRS system, the lineage classification of PRRSV, and the emergence of PRRSV mutant strains.
Professor Wang Xinglong of Northwest A&F University gave a detailed introduction to the biological characteristics of PRV Shaanxi isolates, the characteristics of PRRSV Shaanxi isolates, and the prevalence and prevention and control of PCV2 and PCV3 with the theme of "Dynamic Sharing of Swine Disease Prevention and Control in Northwest China".
Professor Li Long of Zhejiang A&F University shared "New Technology for Clinical Etiology Diagnosis", introducing how high-throughput sequencing can be combined with efficient and safe production of pig farms from several aspects, such as pathogen detection and analysis process, 203 health screening, and whole genome analysis of major pathogens. In the afternoon, the case sharing discussion was presided over by Professor Zhou Lei of China Agricultural University and Dr. Zhao Kangning of Zhejiang Qinglian Group.
Gustavo Silva, assistant professor at Iowa State University, shared "Purification and Case Analysis of Epidemic Diarrhea in American Pigs", which explained the current situation of PEDV epidemic in the United States and the ideas and methods of PEDV prevention, control and elimination from a new perspective, and analyzed and summarized the economic impact of PEDV.
Dr. Wang Xingchen of Haid Group shared the "Case of Diarrhea Prevention and Control in Pig Farms", compared the prevention and control ideas of diarrhea in the American system and the diarrhea in the Haid system, and explained the key points of diarrhea prevention and control in the Haid system, and showed the phased data of diarrhea prevention and control in the system.
Dr. Zhang Xin of Shandong Longda Group shared "Thoughts on the Purification of Pseudorabies under the Normalization of Non-plague", explained the current epidemic status and purification progress of PRV, and analyzed the key points in the purification process in detail through the reflection of purification cases.
Dr. Wang Lianxiang from the Pig Research Institute of Wen's Group shared "PRRS Prevention, Control and Purification in Large-scale Pig Farms", introduced the current epidemic law and strain characteristics of PRRS, and gave a detailed introduction to typical cases, and summarized the key points of comprehensive prevention and control strategies in combination with the analysis of cases. In the discussion session, all the guests under the chairmanship of Associate Professor Yang Zhen exchanged views on the implementation of disease purification measures under non-plague conditions.
