About the orchestra
Founded in 2020, the Global Artists Festival Symphony Orchestra is a professional international symphony orchestra. This unique orchestra is made up of professional musicians from all over the world who lived and worked in China before the COVID-19 pandemic began. The orchestra's performers are selected by international music experts, who are excellent orchestral actors or soloists.
The members of the Global Artists Festival Symphony Orchestra are united by a shared sense of cultural traditions, a sense of innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence. The orchestra interprets classical art with extraordinary timbres. The Global Artists Festival Symphony Orchestra adheres to the principle that culture can unite people of all nationalities and backgrounds, and strives to bring about positive changes in society.
Conductor Profile
Alex Fellu is a well-known Bassonian and conductor in Belarus. He graduated from the Belarusian State Conservatory with a doctorate. He also takes special courses in Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Turkey and other countries.
Alex is the creator and conductor of the Belarusian Symphony Orchestra and soloist orchestra "Vytoki". As conductor, he has performed with almost all Belarusian Symphony Orchestras, including the Belarusian State Symphony Orchestra, the Belarusian State Model Opera and Ballet Symphony Orchestra, as well as numerous European professional symphony orchestras and chamber orchestras, and he has served as assistant conductor of the Belarusian State Model Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Alex has participated in more than 100 international festivals, including the Minsk Spring in Belarus, the Belarus autumn music festival, the Warsaw Summer Music Festival in Poland, and the Pilkadan International Music Festival in France. He has collaborated with carreras, one of the world's three great tenors, and the famous Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer.
Alex is also a well-known music educator. He has been teaching clarinet performance and conducting at the Belarusian State Conservatory of Music for 17 years, in addition to teaching music at the Syrian University of Music and Drama. He has also served as Principal Bassoon conductor at the Belarusian State Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Syrian Damascus Opera Symphony Orchestra.
Alex has won numerous international awards, including the 2003 Pandlerski Music Competition in Poland and the Bayroyte International Instrumental Competition in Germany in 1998. He was also the winner of the first International Woodwind Competition in Belarus.
