Cheng Peng said that in the future field of high-end intelligent electric vehicles, the number of single-vehicle chips will increase several times to reach more than 3,000 pieces, and the proportion of automotive semiconductors in the BOM of vehicle material costs will increase from 4% in 2019 to 12% in 2025, and will increase to 20% in 2030.

It can be said that a new round of automobile reform is bringing a huge incremental space to the automotive chip industry, among which automotive intelligence is particularly obvious for the improvement of the value of bicycle chips.

With the gradual increase in the number of intelligent networked car sensors, vehicle data collection capabilities are also increasing, the scale of data is becoming increasingly large, according to estimates, an L4 level autonomous driving car, the data generated per hour can reach 200-300G, Cheng Peng believes that the data torrent generated by intelligent networked vehicles will become a new "oil", supply algorithm training to feed back the application ability to improve, but in the face of such massive data, improve data utilization efficiency can not only rely on cloud computing capabilities, but also need data processing capabilities on the end, This has also become the fundamental logic of 4D Map, which has been deeply cultivating automotive intelligent data and software algorithms for many years, and laying out automotive chips.

Compared with consumer-grade and industrial-grade chips, automotive electronic chips have higher requirements for safety and reliability while realizing various scenarios in the car, including operational stability requirements, reliability requirements, consistency requirements, product life cycle requirements, delivery yield requirements, etc., and need to pass stringent tests and standard certifications such as AEC-Q100, IATF16949, ISO26262 and so on. This makes the Chinese core with a large gap in the basic links face greater development challenges.

In addition, the domestic chip industry chain links are scattered, lack of ecological collaboration, as of now, China's IP, EDA, wafer manufacturing and other industrial chain links are still in the catch-up stage, even in the field of packaging and testing, production capacity is also inclined to the consumer level.

No, Peng believes that with the support of national policies, the overall planning of the government, and the mutual trust and cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, the domestic semiconductor industry chain is breaking the original boundaries and barriers and ushering in a period of rapid development.
