Then there is a saying that says: All laws are empty, but cause and effect are not empty.
You say that since everything is empty, why bother to experience it?
Because cause and effect are not empty, so everything you experience, from the point of view of things, will eventually enter the void, but there is gain, just like eating the food in the stomach, it will eventually be digested and excreted, but it will get nourishment, thus nourishing the body, you can say that it is empty, but it is not necessarily really empty, but transformed into another kind of existence. This is the relationship between emptiness and existence.
This sentence actually tells us not to be too attached to all things in name, because they are not permanent, and they will all undergo changes, such as wealth will not be eternal, beauty will not be eternal, and honor will not be eternal.
In this process of experience, you cannot keep everything, you will experience changes and disappearances, so there is no need to have any attachment to greed, the only constant is cause and effect.

Cause and effect is what we often call karma.
It is also called karmic cause and effect, so our body is called the karmic body, and this world is called the karmic world. We are pulled by the six realms because of the creation of karma, and the bodhisattva is not pulled by karma because he does not create karma, is not bound by karma, and comes and goes freely in the karmic conditions of birth and death, while we cannot be free, and we cannot control life, old age, illness and death.
Karma, translated in Sanskrit, means 'fabrication'.
It means that all the activities of our body and mind are karma, and once we have karma, we have power, and this force is karma, and this karma will lead us through various karmic results, which will determine our destiny.
What are the tools of karma? It is our body, our mouth, our mind.
Therefore, it is the karma of the body, the industry of the mouth, and the karma of the mind.
To put it simply, all our actions, all our words, all our thoughts and thoughts, will create karma, and this karma will cause a certain effect to arise, and at the same time this effect will lead us to create new karma, and then there will be new results, and so on is samsara.

In the process, everything you experience is empty, including your anger, and eventually disappears. But what remains is the result of this incident, which may affect his life. This is that all laws are empty, but cause and effect are not empty.
For example, if you go to a wine party and eat a lot of delicacies, these delicacies are physical phases, which exist before eating, and after eating all phases do not exist, what do you get? What you get is the nourishment that comes to the body because of it, and the feeling after eating, which is the result; if you look at it in the long run, then this nourishment and feeling are empty and no longer exist.
Therefore, all laws are empty, not nothing, and in the process of experiencing, because of their own thoughts and actions, they cause all kinds of results, which is fate, and if you do not understand the truth of it, you cannot restrain and control it, then you will only continue to create new karma, and produce more results, so infinite accumulation and cycle.
Of course, this karma is not all bad, and is divided into 'good karma, bad karma, and unremembered karma'.
If you create a good cause, you will naturally have good results, and vice versa, you will have evil results, and of course, there are also results without good and evil.
Therefore, in the process of experience, one's own thoughts, actions, and words are very important. The slightest carelessness will create new bad karma, which will cause new evil consequences for oneself.
That's why it's said that if you can't take anything, you can only take karma with you.
All phases are subject to change, so we must break the phase and not cling to it.
Of course, this karma has to be talked about in detail, and there are many more, and I will only talk about it in general, and from the perspective of feelings, karma is also divided into mental and physical karma.
For example, pain is karma, and sadness is karma.
Everything we do will form a certain amount of karma and return it to ourselves, so we will reap the rewards for the truth.
So how can we say that everything is meaningless? It is meaningful, because in this process, you can constantly revise your body and mind, and turn bad karma into good karma, so as to receive good results.
As for what is the meaning of human life?
From a spiritual point of view, it is to complete the 'elimination of karma'.
From a secular point of view, it is to fulfill the 'responsibility'.
To eliminate karma is to constantly correct one's body and mind, to constantly reflect on oneself through repentance, and thus to change oneself. The purpose of changing oneself is to have a good karma, so that one can get out of samsara and not suffer from the suffering of birth and death.
On the contrary, fulfilling one's responsibilities is also a process of debt repayment.
All the pain you experience is both the process of eliminating karma and paying off debts.
Understanding this truth, you know that life is just a practice, all good or bad is the manifestation of karma, and it is also the best arrangement, so why should we reject and complain, accept everything calmly, face it positively, and from the moment on, correct ourselves, change ourselves, so as to purify our karma, so that it can get a good result and get rid of life and death.
