Member of the Communist Party of China, special technician, graduated from Wuhan Railway Bridge Technical School in July 1991, majoring in surveying, and is currently the deputy manager of the Surveying and Mapping Center of the Fifth Company of China Railway Bridge Bureau, and the person in charge of surveying the Hongqili Road Bridge of Shenjiang High-speed Railway. It has participated in the construction of more than 20 large bridges, such as Chongqing Caiyuanba Bridge, Wuhan Tianxingzhou Bridge, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Pingtan Strait Bridge, Guangzhou-Shenzhen Yanjiang Expressway Phase II, and Zhuhai Xijiang Highway and Railway Bridge. It has successively won the first prize of scientific and technological progress of China Railway Bridge Bureau, a number of invention and utility model patents, and the QC achievements presided over by it have won the first prize of China Construction Association, Hubei Province, Guangdong Province and China Railway, and have won the honorary titles of advanced production workers, outstanding Communist Party members, and advanced individuals in safety and quality of the five companies of China Railway Bridge Bureau for many times.

Guo Bo was born and raised at the Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge construction site, and was nurtured by his parents.

When he first joined the work, Guo Bo felt that his knowledge and ability were insufficient. He did not miss every opportunity to learn, "only by constantly learning, learning from books, learning from practice, can we make progress."

Measurement is a "chore", but Guo Bo is more energetic than it. Often on site is a whole day, constantly accumulating measurement experience. At the same time, he also humbly consulted his peers and seniors, and actively improved himself through research. Talking about the measurement work, Guo Bo believes that as a qualified surveyor, not only must be skilled, but also be clear about the origin of the measurement lofting data, not like a "puppet" with a thread, only act without thinking.

Based on his interest in work and sense of responsibility, Guo Bo always maintains an exploratory heart. In order to solve the problem of 6.3 km long-distance cross-sea elevation measurement accuracy of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge under unstable conditions, Guo Bo presided over the design and implementation of the innovative scheme, and successfully completed the 6.3-kilometer second-class cross-sea level measurement task, raising the second-class cross-sea triangle elevation measurement distance to a new height. At the same time, according to the difficulties and key points of construction surveying in the construction process of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, he combined cutting-edge measurement technology and information automation technology, and finally formed a complete set of implementable technical solutions through tackling key problems, saving more than 100 yuan for the enterprise, ensuring the accuracy of measurement and greatly reducing the construction time.

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

Zhuhai Xijiang Highway and Railway Bridge (formerly known as Jinhai Bridge) is the world's first multi-tower cable-stayed bridge on the same floor of the road and railway, which has the characteristics of large span, new structure and new technology, and is difficult to construct, high risk level and arduous measurement task. At the same time, in order to ensure the safe and reliable vertical rotation of the steel tower in the overall hoisting process of the steel tower, they developed the "Jinhai Bridge Main Tower Hoisting Monitoring Platform" together with the Bridge Research Institute, and used the BIM platform of the Bridge Bureau to combine GPS, tilt sensors, high-definition cameras, distance sensors and other equipment to realize the intelligence, real-time and visualization of the whole process of the main tower hoisting construction.

The members of Guo Bo's survey team carried forward the work spirit of hard-working and excellence, and used accurate and reliable data to make the steel main tower of the bridge achieve perfect vertical rotation on the endless sea.

In addition to the engineering benefits brought by technological innovation, the "Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Bridge Project CB05 Standard Surveying Project" presided over or participated in the declaration by Guo Bo won the Gold Award of National Excellent Surveying and Mapping Project; "Prefabricated Steel Tower Manufacturing and Overall Installation Measurement Method" was awarded the excellent construction method of China Railway; "Long section steel box girder and steel tower integral vertical rotation installation technology" won the first prize of science and technology progress of China Railway Bridge Bureau and many other honors. In the surveying work, in order to better promote the growth of young people, Guo Bo relied on his work experience and professional skills, especially during the work of the Jinhai Bridge project, he specially organized a research team to lead everyone to find tricks, find shortcuts, carry out technological innovation, invention and creation from the daily repetitive and tedious work.

After the Zhuhai Xijiang Highway and Railway Bridge entered the final stage, Guo Bo turned to the Hongqili Highway and Railway Bridge project, and he asked all the surveying and mapping members, especially young colleagues, to actively participate in various work, and told them: "Don't be afraid if you don't understand it for the time being, but you can't help but learn." He participated in the completion of the preparation of the Hongqili Bridge's "Control Network Retest Program", "Control Network Retest Technical Summary", "Overall Measurement Plan" and the review report of the group company, and the skill level has been greatly improved, and has now become the team leader of the work area, responsible for the measurement of the Nansha work area of the bridge.

In addition, in order to further improve the level of measurement theory knowledge of the team surveyors, he made the theoretical test questions of the China Railway Corporation Surveying Skills Competition into an online brushing applet using the Exambao APP, requiring all employees to study the questions and conduct a theoretical knowledge assessment once a month, which greatly improved the level of measurement theoretical knowledge of all employees.
