At the lecture site of Tianyuan Primary School, Zhang Xiangang, a teacher from Hebei Linghe Computer Information Technology Co., Ltd., took the online games and short videos touched by minors as the starting point, and explained them one by one from the aspects of Internet civilization, Internet literacy, and the harm and prevention methods of Internet addiction among teenagers through popular and lively language and educational videos, so as to help students understand the risks of network security and the harm of Internet addiction, and further enhance the self-protection awareness and Internet literacy of minors.
In the Tianyuan Community Square, the staff of the Internet Information Office of the Municipal and District Party Committees, the police of the Tianyuan Police Station, and the volunteers of Tianyuan Street focused on the theme of "Digital Empowerment, Sharing by the Whole People", and popularized the knowledge of network security protection to past residents through various methods such as hanging banners, setting up consultation desks, and distributing heatstroke prevention fans printed with "Popularizing Anti-Fraud Knowledge", explaining how to strengthen the protection of personal information in daily life, guiding the general public to pay attention to official accounts to refute rumors, and improving the ability to fight online fraud and identify online rumors. The police used easy-to-understand language to publicize the types of phone calls, text messages, and Internet fraud to the elderly who participated in the event, and guided everyone to be vigilant in life and guard their "money bags". At the same time, volunteers popularized digital skills such as electronic access control, smart phones, and online payment to the elderly, helping them cross the "digital threshold".
A total of more than 500 copies of publicity materials were distributed in this event, which effectively improved the digital literacy and skill level of the general public.
