Earlier, I had the news of the TANK FEST 2024 jointly organized by the WG Tank Group and the Bovington Tank Museum in the UK, an annual event that showcases a large number of special tank armored vehicles. The most surprising thing is that with the sponsorship of the WG tank group and the fundraising of military fans, the world's only existing FV4005 has been restored and will be displayed at the TANK FEST with the IS-3M. WOT has also launched a 2D style "Festival King" to commemorate this event, which has a price tag of 1500 gold and item number 936 in the client.

The FV4005 will be sent for refurbishment
The British built only 3 FV4005 prototypes, one of which was Stage 1 and two of which were Stage 2. The Bovington Tank Museum actually preserves the turret and artillery part of one of the two Phase 2 vehicles, which was placed in the museum's children's play area many years ago for children to play with as a steel castle. After the turret had been idle for about 30 years, in 2008 the Bovington Tank Museum reassembled the turret and gun and placed it on an idle Centurion chassis to create an FV4005 Phase 2 that looked fine on the outside and kept it the museum's door and landmark.
The FV4005 has been reconditioned and is fully moving
Mr. Huyce, a British tank collector and restoration expert (who is a console WOT player), was willing to provide a correct FV4005 chassis to give the FV4005 a new lease of life with the Bovington Tank Museum. In just 24 hours, the museum raised £20,000 and the World of Tanks team began restoration work with £20,000. The restoration of the FV4005 was carried out in Mr Hewys's workshop in Leicestershire. Now that the car has been completely restored, it is confirmed that it will debut at the TANK FEST on June 28 this year.
