This is a real small shot of a real-life flood control drill organized by Zhouying Town, Shenqiu County on the morning of June 27.
The purpose of this drill is to learn the lessons of the "7.20" heavy rainstorm in Zhengzhou, and simulate the sudden rise of the Shaying River in Zhouying due to the heavy rain from June 28 to June 29.
To this end, in accordance with the emergency mechanism, the town quickly launched the flood control emergency response, and set up a flood control and rescue and avoidance headquarters in Lixuwan Village, and immediately organized the rescue of people who fell into the water, emergency resettlement, simulated sandbag building, embankment repair and other related work.
Flood control drill site. At 8 o'clock in the morning, Cheng Jian, secretary of the town party committee of Zhouying Town's flood control and rescue headquarters, issued an emergency assembly order, and the emergency rescue headquarters organized an emergency detachment of more than 40 people to immediately organize maneuvers to the drill area, and each group of emergency rescue personnel quickly assembled.
Swift dike patrol and risk investigation work. At 8:30 a.m., the flood control and evacuation defense emergency personnel under the command headquarters gathered at the headquarters to quickly carry out embankment inspections and mark suspicious risk points.
Simulates sandbag building and dam repair. At 10:05, for the dangerous section of the embankment, the members of the emergency rescue team worked together and had a clear division of labor, divided into four emergency teams, including filling, handling, building embankments, and blocking pipe surges, packed sandbags one by one, quickly transported them to the danger disposal site, and completed the subject drills such as patrol embankment inspection, embankment reinforcement, pipe surge danger rescue, overboarding, and transfer and rescue of the injured and sick.
The on-site commander announced the end of the exercise. The reporter saw at the scene that the whole exercise process was scientific and orderly, tacitly coordinated, busy but not chaotic.
