This year is the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and this year's "July 1st" file, the drama "Red Starting Point" will once again be presented at the China Grand Theater. The play is jointly produced by the National Theatre, the Propaganda Department of the Huangpu District Party Committee, the Huangpu District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and the China Grand Theatre.
The drama "Red Beginning" is based on Mr. Ye Yonglie's long-form documentary work "Red Beginning: Documentary of the Birth of the Communist Party of China", and on the basis of being faithful to the historical documents, the linear narrative structure of the original work is adjusted, and the three-year "memorabilia" of 1919, 1920 and 1921 is selected. It shows the birth process of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai in the form of political narrative, connects the activities of each character with a clear timeline, extracts stories from historical events, adopts the technique of combining history and reality, integrates poetry, history, documentary and other forms of expression, innovatively shows the historical process of the birth, development and growth of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai, readjusts the rhythm of the drama, expands the richness of the scene from the text, and greatly increases the watchability of the work.
"Red Beginning" presents the cultivation of ideas and the growth of beliefs in the period of great historical changes in the form of large group portraits and high-density language, and points to a goal of the original intention with the fate of scattered characters, jumping out of the usual dramatic structure, and using today's perspective to unlock the code of spiritual belief of that generation.
In addition, the "Concert to Celebrate the 103rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" brought by the Shanghai Light Music Troupe will also be performed at the Lyceum Theater on July 1. The concert aims to review the glorious course of the Party in the form of music, carry forward the Party's fine traditions and revolutionary spirit, and stimulate people's patriotic enthusiasm and fighting spirit. The vocal performers of the Shanghai Light Music Troupe sang through solo, duet, chorus and other forms, singing the pride of the Chinese people who are not afraid of the wind and waves. This concert not only includes red classic repertoire such as "Sing a Mountain Song to the Party", "Hymn to Heroes", "Red Flag Fluttering", "My Motherland and Me", but also excellent works with new era themes such as "China in the Lights" and "Pilot".
