Throughout the history of China and some other countries, the collapse of a dynasty usually begins with a financial collapse.
- Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD): The financial difficulties of the late Eastern Han Dynasty made it impossible for the central government to govern the country effectively, culminating in the Yellow Turban Rebellion and warlord secession.

- Qing Dynasty (1644-1912): After the Opium Wars, the Qing government paid huge indemnities and had a heavy financial burden. The financial crisis of the late Qing dynasty further exacerbated internal turmoil and revolutionary movements, which eventually led to the demise of the Qing dynasty.
In addition to examples from Chinese history, similar situations can be seen in the histories of other countries:
- Roman Empire: In the late Roman Empire, the government's financial crisis intensified, and it was unable to pay for the army and maintain public facilities, which eventually led to the demise of the Western Roman Empire.
- Ottoman Empire: The late Ottoman Empire, due to a financial crisis and economic recession, led to internal instability and eventual disintegration.
These examples show that the financial health of a dynasty or regime is one of the key factors in its stability and longevity.
When fiscal crises arise, governments often struggle to keep things running, leading to social unrest, power struggles, and eventual collapse.
Therefore, everyone knows that money is important, the economy is important, and the consequences of not having money are terrible.
