The scene includes processing workshops, warehouses, etc., and law enforcement officers seized 5523.55 kilograms of various suspected fake yak meat products, 179584 packaging, and 71 kilograms of plastic bags.
According to the investigation, the parties did not obtain production and operation licenses, purchased meat products such as "air-dried duck meat" and "air-dried pork" and processed them into yak beef. These "yaks" are encapsulated in bags labeled "Aba Specialties" and sold online through the WeChat platform. Before the emergence of law enforcement personnel, the sales amount of this counterfeiting den had reached 720,700 yuan.
In accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the local market supervision department confiscated meat products, packaging bags and plastic packaging bags and imposed an administrative penalty of 18.0237 million yuan on the parties' unlicensed production and operation of food. "The parties' production and operation of counterfeit yak beef products has been suspected of constituting the crime of producing and selling counterfeit and shoddy products, and at present, the case has been transferred to the public security organs for investigation."
