According to a report by Xiamen Daily on June 9, at about 3:20 p.m. on the 9th, there was a flooding situation near the Xiamen Municipal Administrative Service Center, and judging from the videos taken by the citizens, a large amount of water with yellow mud gushed out from near the Municipal Administrative Service Center, and the surrounding sections of Fanghu South Road, Zhongzhai West Third Road, Mucuo Road, and Yunding North Road were flooded to varying degrees.

At about 4:30 p.m., the reporter arrived near the administrative service center. At this time, the flooding has basically subsided, and the on-site security personnel told reporters that at the time of the incident, a large amount of sewage rushed into the underground garage of the political service center, and the water depth was about 5 centimeters.

At the scene, the reporter asked the staff of the water department, who said that the flooding was caused by the rupture of a nearby raw water pipe, and the specific cause of the rupture was under investigation.

The reporter learned that after the incident, the municipal administrative service center was opened to the public normally.
