A medical staff member of Beijing Ditan Hospital was confirmed and was a doctor in the emergency isolation area

According to the official WeChat "Healthy Beijing" news of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, at 3 o'clock on February 3, a medical staff in the emergency isolation area of Beijing Ditan Hospital found abnormal results in a daily routine nucleic acid test, and the review test result was positive. Based on the results of epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case at 10:00 on February 3, with a clinical classification of mild, and has been isolated and treated in hospitals. The specific circumstances of the case are reported as follows:

Confirmed case: Male, doctor in the emergency isolation area of Beijing Ditan Hospital, entered the emergency isolation area since January 23. One routine nucleic acid test result per day from 23 January to 2 February was negative. The specific cause of the infection is under further investigation.

100 environmental sites associated with the case have been sampled. Nucleic acid tests were conducted on 177 staff members in the emergency isolation area, all of which were negative. Epidemiological investigations are underway by territorial disease control departments, and the determination of close contacts is ongoing.

Since 8:00 a.m. on February 3, Beijing Ditan Hospital has suspended outpatient services and accepted ordinary inpatients.
