At about 8:10 a.m. on March 8, Gao Rongjing came to the Luanchuan County People's Court early in advance to sort out the files and work together
Pre-litigation mediation in recourse dispute cases will be conducted here. Because the parties to the case are relatively close to the county seat, in order not to let the parties run more, Gao Rongjing deliberately arranged the mediation work in the mediation room of the county court.

Sanchuan Court is one of the dispatched courts of Luanchuan County Court, with an area of 535.6 square kilometers, jurisdiction over Taowan Town, Linghe Town, Sanchuan Town, Lengshui Town, 52 natural villages, and a population of 95,000.

It was difficult to reach Changwan Village in Taowan Town, but the person concerned was not found, and his mother could not say exactly where it was. Gao Rongjing contacted the person concerned by phone, and the other party said that he was in a foreign country. "In the morning, the other party promised to wait at home, but it turned out that it was not there." Gao Rongjing said that many villagers are afraid of "lawsuits," hide from judges, and do everything possible to refuse to accept summonses. Therefore, many times, they often spend a lot of time and run a long way, but they will not find the person for various reasons.
Subsequently, Gao Wenjing rushed to the Qiulin Relocation Poverty Alleviation Community in Taowan Town for delivery, but still did not find the parties. The phone was contacted many times, but the other party did not answer the phone and did not find his family.
At 10:40 a.m., Gao Wenjing came to Sanchuan Village in Sanchuan Town to learn about a divorce dispute case. The man often does not return home, and the woman sues for divorce. After arriving, Gao Rongjing did not see the man, and could not contact the other party after many phone calls. After the woman concerned saw Gao Rongjing, she was very excited and her eyes were full of tears.
"Divorce is not the solution to the problem, your children are still young, the elderly still need support, think about it." Gao Rongjing used the man's mother's phone to contact the man concerned.
Gao Rongjing patiently listened to the woman's confession and gave her some emotional comfort.
In handling such family disputes, Gao Rongjing believes that a woman's own unique ability to be amiable, delicate and good at communication can allow her to better put herself in the position of the parties and let the parties willingly open their hearts and talk to the judges. At about 1:00 p.m. on the same day, after simply eating a bowl of noodles, Gao Rongjing could not rest, and Gao Rongjing immediately set off to learn about another divorce dispute. After that, he went to the farthest town of Linghe to learn about a tort liability dispute case about the hydropower station.
Mediation of cases, service of procedures for responding to lawsuits, inspection of the scene... From about 8:10 a.m. to more than 7 p.m., Gao Rongjing traveled more than 200 kilometers a day, reaching 9 places, and many cases were cross-handled, cumbersome and complicated, and these were Gao Rongjing's "daily life".

At 7 o'clock in the evening, the last party was sent away, and the sky gradually darkened. After a simple dinner, Gao Rongjing returned to the office with the judge's assistant and clerk and began to write legal documents, sort out the files, and prepare the next day's materials...
Sanchuan Town is more than 40 kilometers away from Luanchuan County, and on weekdays, Gao Rongjing and her colleagues basically stay in the Sanchuan court and can only return to their home in the county town on weekends.
Here is an assistant judge, a clerk, two security guards and a big sister who cooks, plus Gao Rongjing, and six people guard this small courtroom in the mountains.
Speaking of family, Gao Rongjing choked up several times. She is a mother of two young children. She is also a daughter and needs to take care of her mother, who has been ill for many years. "I basically didn't pick up the kids when they went to school, and I was very guilty." Gao Rongjing said that only in the dead of night did she dare to open the video phone and look at the sleeping child.
She gave too much time to the trial cause, too much regret to her family, too much hard work to herself.
"Since you choose to work in the grass-roots courts, you must find ways to overcome family problems." Most of the cases heard by Gao Rongjing are family conflicts and neighborhood disputes, although the subject matter is not large, but they all involve people's livelihood and are related to the vital interests of the people. In Gao Rongjing's eyes, the people's livelihood is no small matter. Behind them are not just files and data, behind them are rural women who are facing family conflicts and do not know how to live by themselves, there are ordinary villagers who are kind and simple but unfortunate to suffer accidents, and there are migrant workers who have not been paid for many years after the completion of the project...
"From the look in their eyes, I deeply felt the desire and expectation for justice in their hearts." As the first female president of the Sanchuan People's Court since its establishment, Gao Rongjing deeply felt a heavy responsibility on her shoulders.
