Recently, a video of "Real Madrid fans singing insulting songs in public" circulated on the Internet, which attracted the attention of netizens at home and abroad. A number of domestic and foreign netizens pointed out that the young man singing in the video is suspected to be the grandson of former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz, and the son of current Real Madrid official commentator Lorenço Sanz Duran.

The video shows a Chinese blogger on the streets of England on June 2 during a post-match interview for the Champions League final, when he met a fan celebrating Real Madrid's victory, and after greeting him, the fan asked where the blogger was from. After learning that the blogger was Chinese, the fan sang a song into the camera that was suspected of racial discrimination and insulting Chinese women.

Since the Chinese blogger did not understand Spanish, he specifically asked what the song was singing, and the fan claimed that the lyrics were "celebrating the victory of Real Madrid", and then deliberately dragged the Chinese blogger to sing again.

On June 6, a vlogger with hundreds of thousands of followers on overseas video platforms posted a video in which he said he recognized the man who sang racist songs as the grandson of former Real Madrid president Lorenço Sanz and the son of Real Madrid's official commentator Lorenço Sanz Duran. This was also reported by the Spanish media "Diario AS".

According to the Global Times, Lorenzo Sanz Duran's official social media account was consulted, and Duran had previously posted photos of himself and his family twice, and in the two group photos, one of the young men looked highly similar to the person who sang insulting songs in the previous video.

So far, Real Madrid and the Lorenzo Sanz Durán family have not responded to the speculation.

According to the official account of Real Madrid Club, Lorenzo Sanz served as the president of Real Madrid from 1995 to 2000, during which he led Real Madrid to win many top championships such as the Champions League and La Liga. In March 2020, Lorenzo Sanz died of coronavirus infection at the age of 76.

Many people, including Spanish netizens, condemned the man's actions in the video, with many pointing out that his racist and sexist words and actions touched the moral line, whether he was a member of the Lorenzo family or not.
