From a microcosmic point of view, the world exists in everyone's cognition. As a reflection of the heart lake, it reflects our perception and expectation of all existence, including ourselves. The overlapping of countless people's inner worlds has jointly shaped the dynamic panorama of the external world.
This overlapping process is silent, passive, disordered, difficult to observe and describe, and even difficult to discuss. However, we can use the "commons expression" of the artwork, the artist's own record and imagination of the world, displayed on the canvas or other media and scenes, to discuss and even argue, so as to carry out dialogue and exchange between each other more intuitively, and in this way, to achieve a wider contact and even recognition between different people, classes and communities of consciousness.
In order to guide all walks of life to pay more attention to the social value of artworks, and to help artists continue to grow and make breakthroughs, Forbes China has launched a number of art-related activities, selections and lists in recent years, including the "2023 Forbes China Young Artist 100 Competition" jointly held with Xiaoyan Art Institute last year. Building on the success of the competition, this year, Forbes China and Xiaoyan Art Institute have once again joined forces to launch the "2024 Forbes China Young Artist 100 Competition".
At present, the preliminary round of this competition has ended, and the jury has selected hundreds of finalists, who have the opportunity to enter the final stage of the competition. At present, the final registration stage is halfway through, and the final selection is also being carried out on a rolling basis. We welcome more finalists who are not afraid of challenges and are eager to get more opportunities.
It is worth noting that due to the mailing, verification, and storage of the finalists, a fee of RMB 2,998 will be charged for the registration of the finalists. The deadline for submission of finalists is July 31.
After the finals, we will select 100 2024 Forbes China Young Artists from among the contestants, and select the winners of the National Gold Award, National Silver Award, and National Bronze Award (National Gold Award bonus of 100,000 yuan), and the list of selected and winners will be announced later. In addition, we will hold a forum and award ceremony for the selected candidates to recognize their achievements.
