The Suobao Bridge in Shexian County spans the Qingzhang River and is the main passage connecting Suobao Village and Taocheng Village. The original bridge is a 4-hole 13-meter cast-in-place slab flood bridge, with short bridge deck, few holes, narrow flood channel, and poor flood discharge capacity. In July last year, due to the heavy rainfall during the flood season, the two approach roads at the head of the bridge were all washed away, and the bridge was interrupted and impassable. According to the actual situation, Shexian County added 4 holes and 13 meters of bridges at both ends of the original bridge, so that the small bridge became a bridge, and the dangerous road became a bridge, and the total length of the bridge was about 170 meters after the reconstruction.

At the construction site of the Liuzhuang Bridge Reconstruction Project in Liaocheng Township, Shexian County, workers are building the river retaining wall and finishing the bridge deck. The total length of the original bridge is 65 meters, which is a cast-in-place slab bridge of 6-10 meters, and the substructure adopts light piers, and the piers have poor erosion resistance. The structure of the new bridge was upgraded, and the upper part adopted a 4-span 16-piece T-beam structure. The substructure is a pile-type pier abutment, a bored pile foundation, and a new 50-meter approach road is built at the bridgehead on both sides of the bridge, which greatly improves the flood discharge and anti-scouring ability of the bridge.

It is understood that the water-damaged highway (bridge) restoration and reconstruction project includes a total of 15 bridges, including 11 repaired and reinforced bridges, and 4 new (reconstructed) bridges, involving Suobao Town, Liaocheng Township, Hezhang Township, Henan Dian Town and other townships, with a total investment of about 2,757 yuan. Since the start of construction, the construction unit has overcome many difficulties such as many points, wide areas and difficult river construction, reversed the construction period, wall chart operations, and taken measures such as increasing personnel and various types of machinery and equipment, changing the flow turnover to parallel construction, and working in two shifts, so as to speed up the construction progress under the premise of ensuring safety, environmental protection and project quality, and strive to build a "safe road" and "assured bridge" that the people are satisfied with. Up to now, 11 repaired and reinforced bridges such as Zhaishang Bridge and Taizhuang No. 1 Bridge have been completed, and 3 new (reconstructed) bridges such as Suobao Bridge have been completed and opened to traffic.
