Geely's Wofei long-altitude tiltrotor configuration "flying car" made a successful debut

On June 23, 2024, Sichuan Wofei Changkong Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wofei Changkong") self-developed AE200 tiltrotor configuration eVTOL verification aircraft successfully completed all subjects of a series of flight tests such as full-size, full-weight, and all-envelope tilt transition at the company's flight test site, and successfully completed its first public flight. This means that Wofei Changkong has become the first company in China and the second company in the world to complete the eVTOL-related test subjects of tiltrotor configuration.

The success of this public flight marks the successful completion of the second-stage test flight of the AE200 eVTOL in Wofei Changkong, and also realizes the key technical indicators of the company's development of the system, especially the verification of the core system functions of the AE200 eVTOL and various safety systems, laying a solid foundation for the improvement of the AE200 mass production model in the future.

The company has appropriately tilted its R&D resources to the field of eVTOL electronic control, and strives for breakthroughs in the research and development of design, algorithm and lightweight of eVTOL electronic control.
