Jidayuan high-speed railway is an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network "Hunan channel", in the past from Hohhot to Taiyuan need to detour to Huai'an, Hebei, after the introduction of Ulanqab station, you can directly take the Dayuan high-speed railway, Hohhot and Taiyuan railway travel time from the current 5 hours to more than 2 hours.
At the same time, at another high-speed rail construction site more than 400 kilometers away, the Baoyin high-speed railway was successfully introduced into the existing Baotou station, laying the foundation for the follow-up project. The Baoyin high-speed railway is also an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network "Jinglan Channel", starting from Baotou City in Inner Mongolia in the east and Yinchuan City in Ningxia in the west, which is the fastest passage for Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai and other northwest provinces and regions to enter Beijing. After completion, the running time of the high-speed railway from all parts of the northwest region to Beijing will be shortened by more than 2 hours.
The Lanwu section of the Lanzhang high-speed railway was put into operation on June 29
The reporter learned from the National Railway Group that the Lanwu section of the new Lanzhang high-speed railway will be opened for operation on June 29, and Wuwei, Gansu, an important town on the Silk Road, will be connected to the national high-speed rail network.
The Lanzhang high-speed railway starts from Lanzhou West Railway Station, passes through Lanzhou City, Wuwei City, Jinchang City and Zhangye City in Gansu Province, and connects to Zhangye West Station, with a total length of about 498 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The whole line is divided into three sections, of which the section from Lanzhou West to Zhongchuan Airport has been put into operation in September 2015; The opening is the section from Zhongchuan Airport to Wuwei East, with a total length of 193 kilometers.
At the initial stage of operation, a maximum of 20 locomotive trains will be operated per day. Wuwei East to Lanzhou West Railway Station can be reached in 1 hour and 56 minutes at the earliest, which is 58 minutes shorter than the current general-speed passenger train.
