"This year, I used drip irrigation under the membrane, compared with flood irrigation, it not only saves water, fertilizer, labor, but also reduces costs, and now the sunflower is growing very well." Yang Zaihai, a villager in Shangrun Village, Donghu Town, said.
In the work of water conservation, in order to ensure the income of farmers, Donghu Town actively adjusted the planting structure, guided farmers to give priority to planting fennel, sunflower and other low-water, high-efficiency cash crops, and achieved a win-win situation of water conservation and industrial development while promoting water-saving technology.
"Our Donghu Town has built a water-saving demonstration site of 10,000 mu in villages such as Xiangzhi, Fuyu, Shangrun, and Xiarun, with Dongrun as the core, and a demonstration site of drip irrigation sunflower under 1,000 mu of membrane in Dongrun Village."
