The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the first meeting of the 2021 leading group of the Neijiang City Safety Construction and Urban Social Governance Modernization Pilot Work, interpreted the mid-term assessment of the urban social governance work and the relevant requirements for the creation of ping an town street, safe industry, and safe unit, and the relevant municipal departments made exchange speeches on promoting the construction of safety and the pilot work of urban social governance.
The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to fully affirm the achievements and continue to maintain the enthusiasm of work. Since the pilot work, the whole city has acted quickly, carefully organized, and advanced in an orderly manner, mobilized all sectors of society to participate together, integrated the superior resources of all parties, promoted the continuous new progress of the city's social governance work, and ensured the smooth passage of important sensitive periods such as the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, and a number of typical experiences were promoted throughout the province. It is necessary to face up to the shortcomings of the problem and continue to maintain the vigor of work. At present, the city's urban social governance work still has the problems of insufficient active innovation, insufficient active participation, insufficient linkage between the upper and lower levels, insufficient system integration, and insufficient strength, and all departments at all levels in the city must attach great importance to it, take a seat in the right place, face up to the deficiencies, effectively correct the direction, refine the measures, and promote the pilot work with greater intensity and more practical style. It is necessary to benchmark the mid-term assessment and continue to maintain the momentum of work. According to the requirements of the mid-term assessment of the standard, carefully sort out the entry of each item to ensure that the measures are accurate, the accounts are clear, and the highlights are prominent; conscientiously promote the pilot work in accordance with the requirements of the annual target assessment of the party affairs of the provincial party committee; fully mobilize the initiative of the three levels of counties, towns, and villages, support the strong foundation of the town streets with the effective implementation of the village community, and support the top-level design of the municipal level with the implementation of the county-level main body; and effectively combine the urban social governance work with the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan", urban and rural grass-roots governance, rural revitalization, and the second half of the "two reforms". Convergence linkage is promoted. It is necessary to tighten the responsibility of compaction and continue to maintain the tenacity of the work.
