The Turkish women's volleyball team won the World Women's Volleyball League championship for the first time, and the Chinese women's volleyball team also created the best record in the history of participating in the event. The scores were 22–25, 25–22, 19–25, 16–25. In the third and fourth place finals, the Polish women's volleyball team won the first World League medal in five games 3-2 against the host team USA.
It can be seen from the semifinals of the Turkish women's volleyball team and the United States women's volleyball team that this upgraded Turkish team has first-class offensive strength because of Vargas.
