Wu Yongsheng, born in 1961 in Chenghai, Shantou, China, is a famous contemporary calligraphy and painting artist, first-class artist, and arts and crafts designer.
He is currently the president of Anxing Tengxin Painting and Calligraphy Institute, the vice president of Chaoqi Wuzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute, the vice president of Shenzhen Yipin Ge Painting and Calligraphy Institute, the vice president of Qiantang Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and the vice president of Hong Kong Calligraphers and Painters Association.

In 2015, he served as the executive deputy editor-in-chief of ASEAN News Weekly and the director of Chenghai Reporter Station;
