With the support of the HarmonyOS NEXT system, the performance of the whole machine is increased by more than 30%, and the distributed bus brings more than 3 times the connection performance, 4 times the number of connections, and 20% less power consumption.

At the same time, Huawei also released the Star Shield security architecture, which is integrated into the NEXT operating system to achieve collaborative protection of software and hardware. Yu Chengdong said that this security architecture can ensure that the privacy and security of users are not leaked when information is transferred between different devices.

In addition, HarmonyOS also released native intelligence for the first time, and like the AI capabilities just released by Apple, Huawei's set of intelligent twins is also called "Intelligence". Marmony Intelligence also uses a combination of devices and clouds, where the device side is implemented through a small model deployed in the product, and the cloud side accelerates AI generative content through the Pangu large model with a larger number of parameters.

In terms of the number of software, Yu Chengdong said that the software currently TOP5000 has been included in the ecosystem of HarmonyOS, and as of now, there are more than 1,500 native applications of the HarmonyOS operating system.

At the beginning, Yu Chengdong, chairman of Huawei terminals, also reviewed the five years since the release of the HarmonyOS operating system, which has accumulated more than 900 million users. In the first five months of this year, devices equipped with the HarmonyOS system increased by 72% year-on-year. At present, the devices equipped with the HarmonyOS include mobile phones, tablets, wearables, cars, whole-house intelligent connectivity and other products.

Yu Chengdong said that through independent technology research and development, it only took ten years to complete what the European and American operating systems have done in 30 years, and at present, the HarmonyOS has completed all the self-research from the underlying basic code, to the interface layer and then to the application layer, with more than 2.54 million developers and more than 82.7 billion monthly calls to application development services.

In the development of the open-source HarmonyOS system, Huawei has more than 7,800 community contributors and contributed more than 110 million lines of code.
