"5, 4, 3, 2, 1, go!" On the morning of June 23, the second stop of the 2024 Sanya Economic Circle Tropical Rainforest Challenge kicked off at Qixian Square in Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan Province.
It is reported that the second stop of the 2024 Sanya Economic Circle Tropical Rainforest Challenge will be located in Baoting, the "most beautiful county in China". The Baoting section of the race is divided into three groups: experience group, half-way group and challenge group, with a total length of 5.8km, starting from Qixian Square and ending at the entrance of Qixianling Zhongnan Hot Spring Hotel, a half-way group route with a total length of 12.5km, starting from Qixian Square and ending at the Visitor Center Square of Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park, and a total length of 15km for the challenge group, starting from Qixian Square and ending at the 2,200-meter platform of Qixianling Hot Spring National Forest Park.
In the morning, the weather was cool and drizzled like silk. Along the winding mountain road, the participants ran in the rain, shuttled through the lush woods, enjoyed the fresh air, listened to the beautiful birdsong, and rushed to this wonderful journey with the tropical rainforest.
"The environment is very good, it is very characteristic of a tropical rainforest, although it rains, but it has a different flavor." Mr. Wang, a participant, said that the main purpose of this competition is to bring children to experience it, so that children can walk around and see more and feel the tropical rainforest.
Along the way, there were brothers and sisters dressed in a few traditional costumes of Li Miao cheering on the side, and the loud cheering sound resounded through the winding mountain road, cheering up the contestants. "Li Miao's costumes are gorgeous, and the national costumes are very beautiful." Ms. Zhang, a contestant, said that after the competition, she also deliberately found Li Ah Mei to take a group photo together, so that the shutter could record the happy moment.
It is understood that the event was hosted by the tourism and cultural bureaus of cities and counties in the Sanya Economic Circle, and as the first large-scale event jointly organized by the Sanya Economic Circle, the event took the unique tropical rainforest resources of each city and county as the carrier, and deeply integrated sports, tourism, research and other elements. During the opening of this year's Hainan Island Happy Festival, one will be held in Lingshui, Baoting, Wuzhishan, Ledong and Sanya for five consecutive weekends, so that the majority of participants can enjoy the happiness brought by sports, and can also appreciate the customs and tourism resources of cities and counties in the Sanya Economic Circle.
