In order to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and educate and guide community party members to remember the history of the party's struggle and inherit the red gene, on June 25, 2024, the Party Committee of the Higher Education Community of Shangyuan Street organized community party members to visit the Shenyang Museum.
During the event, Comrade Yuan Aiyun, a retired veteran party member of the Shenyang Palace Museum, explained the historical story behind the cultural relics, she said that she felt very cordial when she saw these collections, as if she had returned to the original job of the docent: "In the future, I will continue to publicize the history and culture of Shenyang that I know about it, and use practical actions to give full play to the residual heat, so that the 'silver hair' shines in the volunteer service." ”
After the Opium War, with the decline of the Qing Dynasty and the invasion of foreign powers, Shenyang lost its former glory as the former dragon. Party members have said that history is the best textbook, and remembering history is not to remember the past and dwell on it, but to use the humiliating history to inspire us to strive for self-improvement and strive to forge ahead. As party members, we must make due contributions to winning the "Liaoshen Campaign" for the revitalization of Northeast China and Liaoning in the new era.
The party members were very emotional, and expressed that they would cherish these precious cultural relics that condense the important history of Shenyang, and tell their stories to more people.
