Guan Hong pointed out that Chongqing has a solid foundation for developing the film industry and building a film and television city. In recent years, Chongqing has steadily improved its production capacity, taken the lead in establishing a one-stop service mechanism for film and television shooting in China, continuously improved the film industry chain, developed steadily in the film market, and continuously improved film public services, and has unique advantages in the development of the film industry. Up to now, there are more than 380 film producers registered with the National Film Administration in Chongqing, an increase of more than 10% for two consecutive years. In 2023, 53 film projects will be recorded, a year-on-year increase of 29%. The film support plan has funded a total of 94 projects and implemented more than 4,500 yuan, and more "Made in Chongqing" films are already on the way.
Guan Hong emphasized that this year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it is also a key year for the construction of a modern new Chongqing from comprehensive deployment to in-depth advancement, and a year of struggle for reform and breakthroughs. At the same time, starting from this year, the Municipal Film Bureau will invest about 30 million yuan every year to support the creation of realistic film projects and animated film projects that reflect the characteristics of modern Chongqing and have Chongqing's fireworks.

At the press conference, representatives of the Propaganda Departments and enterprises of Fuling District, Jiulongpo District, Wushan County, UME Cinemas, Dawa Technology, Feixiang Pictures and other districts and counties made on-site exchanges and speeches on topics such as film script creation, film market supervision, and technological innovation in the film industry, focusing on how to promote the high-quality development of the film industry.
