According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, on June 27, 2024, the person in charge of the First Anti-Monopoly Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation met with the relevant person in charge of the Avanci patent pool in accordance with the provisions of the Notice of the Office of the Anti-Monopoly and Anti-Unfair Competition Commission of the State Council and the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Establishment of the Anti-monopoly "Three Books and One Letter" System", and submitted the "Reminder and Urging Letter" in person to remind the Avanci patent pool of the monopoly risk in the licensing process of automotive wireless communication standard essential patents. In accordance with the Anti-Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations, the Avanci Patent Pool is urged to earnestly carry out risk investigations, take effective measures, do a good job in the prevention and rectification of relevant problems, effectively strengthen the construction of anti-monopoly compliance, prevent and stop monopoly risks, maintain the market order of fair competition, and promote the standardized and healthy development of the industry.
