Since 2013, under the guidance of the Insurance Association of China, China Insurance Education Consulting (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Insurance Education), which is directly under the guidance of the China Insurance Association, has closely relied on the two professional committees of property insurance and life insurance, and jointly launched a training and examination system with underwriting and claims as the core.
The system is based on the standardization, systematization and professional knowledge system of auto insurance survey and loss assessment, life insurance underwriting and claims, non-auto insurance underwriting, bancassurance and other professional positions, and is an evaluation system for industry professionals with standard content, authoritative teaching materials, teachers and standardized academic system. Correspondingly, China Insurance Education provides integrated "standard examination" services such as online training and final testing for the whole industry. After continuous construction and improvement, as well as the continuous promotion and popularization in the industry in the past ten years, the system has formed 10 categories of projects, 21 sub-subjects, with more than 500 class hours of course content and 25,000 test question banks, fully covering all professional systems in the insurance industry.

Every year, more than 200 insurance and banking operators actively participate in the standard examination, and the annual registration is as high as 20,000 times. As of March 2024, the cumulative number of applicants has reached nearly 200,000, and more than 70,000 have successfully obtained relevant subject certificates.
From the perspective of geographical distribution, insurance and banking practitioners in Beijing, Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Henan, Sichuan and other places showed a strong willingness to improve their professional skills, accounting for 46.52% of the total number of participants. From the perspective of institutional participation, insurance institutions such as Taiping Life Insurance, Sun Life Everbright, CPIC Property & Casualty, Ruizhong Life Insurance, PICC Life Insurance, as well as financial institutions such as Bank of Beijing, Beijing Rural Commercial Bank, and Agricultural Bank of China are among the best, reflecting the importance that financial institutions attach to talent training, and some institutions have incorporated relevant standard examination items into their internal professional talent training system.

At present, the form of standard examination services is flexible and diverse, for car insurance survey and damage assessment, life insurance underwriting and claims, non-car insurance underwriting and other projects, China Insurance Education adopts the method of four times a year, unified time, centralized invigilation, for other projects, it provides a fixed time of examination arrangements every week, and industry candidates can choose to participate independently according to their own conditions, which reflects the fairness, standardization, flexibility and convenience of the examination organization.
