In a large pet food production enterprise in Liaocheng, Shandong, the canned food production line is running non-stop, and the person in charge introduced that the production line is producing dog food products customized by Japanese customers for elderly dogs.
In the company's shipping warehouse, you can see product packaging in different languages such as English, German, and Japanese. It is understood that the company's products are exported to more than 30 countries, and are currently shipping pet snacks to a large supermarket in the United States, with more than 30,000 boxes shipped per day in this warehouse alone.
The reporter visited Shandong and learned that the growth of pet food export business this year is more common in the industry, and the export growth rate of many enterprises has reached more than 20%. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, from January to April this year, China's pet food exports totaled 93,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%, and the export value was 3.041 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.6%, and the export volume and export value reached a record high.
