On the afternoon of June 24, the Tunisian officials visited the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor and Guangfulin Cultural Site to experience the construction of a modern new Songjiang led by scientific and technological innovation to high-quality development and the harmony and symbiosis of humanity and nature. Jiang Yun introduced to Tunisian officials that the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Cloud Corridor closely follows the two keywords of "integration" and "high quality", adheres to the two-wheel drive of scientific and technological innovation and institutional innovation, and continuously improves the ability of regional innovation to curate sources, exploring a new path for regional coordinated development, which is an example of high-quality development of Chinese-style modernization.
Salim Gariani, head of the workshop and director of the Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia, said that in the past, we always thought that Western countries were far ahead in the field of scientific and technological research and development, but now, China has achieved rapid development, and even surpassed Western countries in some aspects, and this progress is obvious.
When seeing China's self-developed aerospace equipment, Hussam Mahraz, director of the Administration Department of the Tunisian Ministry of Economy and Planning, mentioned that the first overseas center of China's Beidou satellite navigation system, the China-Arab Beidou Center, was built in Tunisia, which not only promoted the exchanges and cooperation between China and Argentina in the field of navigation satellites, but also added new cooperation connotations to the "Belt and Road" initiative and promoted the development of China-Arab collective cooperation to a higher level.
In the new energy vehicle exhibition area, Bashir Matuhi, director of the Department of Enterprises and Public Institutions of the Ministry of Communication and Technology of Tunisia, said that the Tunisian government also attaches great importance to the new energy vehicle industry, but there are still challenges in technology research and development and infrastructure construction. The maturity and industrialization of China's new energy vehicle technology has provided Tunisia with valuable reference and cooperation opportunities.
While visiting a series of high-tech AI products, officials expressed their expectation that they would strengthen exchanges with China in the field of artificial intelligence in the future and cultivate new momentum for China-Arab cooperation.
At the Guangfulin Cultural Site, Tunisian officials embarked on a journey across time and space. They walked through this ancient and vibrant land, as if they had traveled back in time to China 5,000 years ago. Guangfulin Cultural Site is not only a historical witness, but also an important carrier of Songjiang's urban construction concept, which skillfully integrates ecology, culture, leisure and tourism. The officials were immersed in this unique atmosphere and felt the harmonious coexistence of Chinese civilization and the natural environment.
In the archaeological site exhibition hall, the officials stopped and stared in front of the exhibits, as if they could hear the echo of history, feel the wisdom and ingenuity of the ancients, and have a deeper understanding of the connotation of Guangfulin culture, and also enhance their understanding of Chinese culture.
