In order to do a better job in the work of women and children, the Lingqiu County Women's and Family Planning Center organized the Women's Protection Department, the Family Planning Service Department, and the Pharmacy Department to go to Zhaobei Township and Hongshiyuan Township on June 26 and 27 respectively to supervise and publicize the work of the public health maternal and child project.
The staff inspected the contraceptive self-service machines in the two health centers on the spot, whether they were damaged, whether the power connection, screen display, and button operation were sensitive, and checked whether the types and quantities of contraceptives met the needs and whether they were expired. At the same time, the knowledge of eugenics and parenting was popularized for the masses in the township and the importance of cancer screening was preached. During the event, more than 4,000 copies of relevant brochures, more than 500 storage boxes and handbags, and more than 600 boxes of contraceptives were distributed to the public.
In the next step, the Women's Planning Center will use more professional knowledge and guidance to help families preparing for pregnancy understand how to scientifically prepare for pregnancy and health care during pregnancy, and provide timely replacement and maintenance for contraceptive self-service machines that stop using them, so as to ensure that they can provide more convenient ways for people with contraceptive needs, reduce unwanted pregnancies, and protect women's reproductive health.
