In order to warmly celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, let the public experience social development, enrich spiritual life, and actively participate in cultural activities, on the evening of June 28, a series of cultural activities in Pingyin County 2024 Summer Square officially kicked off.
Ling Li, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, and Wang Peihe, vice chairman of the County CPPCC, attended the opening ceremony.
At half past seven o'clock in the evening, accompanied by the dynamic rhythm, the opening program "Inspiring the City" inspired the scene instantly, Peking Opera "Lu Bu Plays Diao Chan", "The Drunken Concubine", the dance "Wonderful Surprise", "Laughter in the Rose Garden", "Ode to the Motherland", saxophone ensemble "Chairman Mao Came to Our Farm", "Beijing's Golden Mountain", "Turn Over Serfs and Sing", intangible cultural heritage display "Jiagutong", "Taiping Boxing" and other wonderful programs took turns on the stage, fully demonstrating their respective strength and artistic charm, and singing the main theme of loving the party, the country and the people. It is full of the infinite loyalty of the people of Pingyin to the party, the infinite love for the motherland, and the infinite longing for a happy life.
It is understood that in 2024, a series of cultural activities of "Striving for a New Journey and a New Era of Contributions" Summer Square will be rolled out in the main venue of the county and the sub-venues of each street (town). The event starts on June 28 and ends on August 31, and more than 60 summer evenings are planned to be performed, which will present wonderful theatrical performances for the masses, so that the summer cultural activities can light up the "nightlife" of the masses.
