The British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), also known as MI6, is the British foreign intelligence agency, established in 1990 to conduct espionage overseas. For a long time, British MI6 was ranked among the world's four largest intelligence units, along with the Soviet KGB, the CIA, and the Mossad of Israel. We are familiar with the 007 series of movies, and the protagonist James Bond is affiliated with the British Secret Intelligence Service.
The British Secret Intelligence Service (FSA), commonly known as MI5, is the British national security agency that operates under the leadership of the Joint Intelligence Committee and is responsible for combating serious crime, military separatism, terrorism, and espionage, among other things.
To put it bluntly, MI5 and MI6 are one inside and one outside. MI6, in particular, is not visible in espionage work in other countries, and because of this secret nature, British domestic reports have never allowed to disclose MI6's work and news related to the department at will, and it was not until 1994 that the British government officially recognized its existence.

And this case is not the first British MI6 espionage case cracked in the mainland, and it is not even the first case this year. At the beginning of this year, the state security organs just cracked a case in which MI6 used personnel from a third country to engage in espionage activities against China. It has been learned that the British side has obtained 9 mainland state secrets, 5 secrets, and 3 intelligence secrets.
In the past, because the attack and defense of espionage intelligence and secret warfare were too sensitive and could easily affect bilateral relations, they were generally handled internally and not made public. However, as the United States has escalated its confrontation with China in recent years, Western blocs tend to openly or even spread rumors about certain intelligence cases to undermine China's reputation and tarnish China's image. From the increasing number of cases announced in recent years, we should also deeply understand that the current reality in the field of national security is very grim and almost impossible to prevent.
