Especially in terms of safety, not only the battery cell successfully passed the 8-needle puncture test of the China Automotive Center, but also the same battery pack easily passed the 6 "devil" serial tests of the China Automotive Center, leading the highest standard of power battery safety with the "Aegis Standard".

In the "8-needle puncture" test of China Automotive Research Institute, the battery cell of the Aegis short knife battery was punctured by 8 steel needles with a diameter of 5mm at the same time and stood for 1 hour, but still did not smoke, fire or explode.

In the challenges of high-frequency bottom scraping, 26-ton overweight reciprocating rolling, and single-pack side pillar collision, the battery pack did not have thermal runaway phenomena such as fire, explosion, and smoke, and no electrolyte leakage, and the insulation resistance of the positive and negative electrodes was normal after standing, and there was no intrusion and deformation of the battery cell; In the Flame Burning Challenge, after 70 seconds of direct flame burning and 60 seconds of oil pan scorching, the battery pack did not have thermal runaway such as fire, explosion, and smoke. It shows that the Aegis short knife battery pack has a high degree of safety and reliability even if it is continuously damaged under various extreme conditions.

3,500 laps of ultra-long cycle life, safe driving mileage can exceed 1 million kilometers

Due to the use of multi-element doped cathode materials and small particle anode materials, combined with its small size and small internal resistance, the internal chemical reaction speed is effectively slowed down and the battery life is significantly prolonged.

According to calculations, the cycle life of the Aegis short knife battery can reach 3,500 laps, which is equivalent to a safe driving range of up to 1 million kilometers, which is equivalent to 25 laps around the earth. According to the estimation that ordinary family cars drive 20,000 kilometers in one year, the Aegis short knife battery can be "serviced" for up to 50 years, significantly delaying the retirement time of battery cells, increasing the residual value of pure electric used cars, and reducing carbon emissions by more than 80,000 tons per year, equivalent to planting 4.7 million trees.
