"Jing Ke's Assassination of Qin" tells the heroic deeds of Jing Ke who served the Yan State and assassinated King Yingzheng of Qin, conveying his loyal and brave spirit. In May 2023, Wuerhe Film and Television City launched this live-action stage play with a performance duration of 15 minutes to 20 minutes based on the story.
One of the major features of the play is that actors of various nationalities co-star, of which 75% are ethnic minority actors. "There are a lot of ancient texts in the lines, and the actors had difficulty reciting the lines, but during the rehearsal process, we ran in with each other and helped each other, they taught me the body language on stage, and I helped them understand the deeper meaning and cultural connotation of the script.
