In order to effectively improve the community environment and the quality of life of residents, in the past 5 years since its completion, Guangxingyuan, as a relocation and resettlement community, has taken the creation of civil air defense projects as the starting point, focused on promoting the construction of the underground garage space environment in the community, and improved the "micro-transformation" of people's livelihood step by step through the closed-loop mechanism of residential area autonomy and deliberation, and built a livable community with beautiful aboveground and underground features and civilized scenery everywhere from scratch.
Civil air defense has set a benchmark and established a new concept of homeland
The total construction area of the underground garage in Guangxingyuan Community is about 15,986 square meters, of which 5,978.5 square meters are civil air defense projects. When they just moved into the community, many residents did not have a very clear understanding of the civil air defense project, and the use of the underground garage in the community was only in the parking function. "A lot of residents will think that I have done a good job of getting in and out of the house, and it looks pleasing to the eye. But in fact, this space below the ground is also part of our home, and we need everyone to work together to build it. Huang Caoshun, secretary of the Party branch of Rongxing Residential Area, said that they decided to find an opportunity to break the situation and try to guide residents to pay attention to the use and construction of the public space of the underground garage, and build it into a new position to enjoy community life.
In August 2022, Guangxingyuan standardized the civil air defense area in the underground garage of the community in accordance with the specifications of the civil air defense engineering identification system. With the "civil air defense orange" lighting up the underground space, the curious residents gradually paid attention to and participated in the construction of the environment. "I'm the civil defense door, I want to be the door god" "Watch your step! I'm a protective gatekeeper" "Don't bully me just because I'm a 'punching bag'! ”…… Residents brainstormed and posted a lot of vivid and interesting witticisms on the basis of the original orange and yellow logos, which explained the functions of the facilities at the same time, and warmly reminded everyone to be good at maintaining and protecting the home environment from every detail.
"Looking at the garage with a new look step by step, we also have to cherish and care!" Resident Li Fei told reporters that whether it is the daily claim and use of civil air defense parking spaces, or the installation of charging piles against the wall in line with the queue, in the process of daily use of the underground garage, everyone understands and respects the needs of civil air defense projects, consciously abides by the regulations, and takes care of the "underground Great Wall" at the door of the house. After the construction of the project was perfected, the Guangxingyuan civil air defense project has also become an important position for civil defense science popularization in the surrounding area and even in the whole region. Every time a team comes to the underground garage of the community to visit and learn, the residents also take on the responsibility of the guardian of the underground garage environment, and work with property personnel and science workers to build this distinctive public space into a better place.

As a typical relocation and resettlement community, every summer, rainy days and other days that are not conducive to outdoor travel, walking and chatting with familiar old neighbors in the underground garage, walking and walking the dog together have also become a common lively scenery in the underground garage. Residents are accustomed to walking and walking their dogs, and cars have to come and go and reverse parking, how to resolve the contradictions between different needs, and meet the needs of everyone while maximizing compatibility, safety and convenience? The party branch of Rongxing residential area led the "troika" to conduct a preliminary investigation on the use habits of residents' underground garages.
"After research, we found that in fact, the owners can understand that there are people walking and walking their dogs in the garage under special circumstances, but they also raise concerns about the safety of people and vehicles and environmental hygiene."
