Recently, the second batch of steel structure bridge promotion projects of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation was successfully released, organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation and researched and compiled by Huashe Design Group. Ding Feng, deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation, Huang Yan, second-level inspector of the department, Zhong Jianchi, chairman of the Provincial Steel Structure Bridge Industry Alliance, and Han Dazhang, chief engineer (bridge) of the group, jointly unveiled the second batch of steel bridge general atlases. More than 100 representatives attended the release ceremony, including the Department of Comprehensive Planning, the Science and Technology Department, the Construction Management Office, the Provincial Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, the Department Highway Center, the Port and Shipping Center, the Provincial Transportation and Construction Bureau, the Provincial Transportation Holdings, and the governing units of the Steel Structure Bridge Industry Alliance.
In order to promote the construction of steel structure bridges with high quality and improve the standard system of steel structure bridges, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation has promoted the general atlas of steel bridges in batches and stages in accordance with the principle of "mature batch and promotion batch". The first batch of general atlas of steel bridges was compiled by Huashe Design Group, and for the large number and wide range of conventional span bridges, the compilation formed the "general diagram of steel-concrete composite plate girder bridge (30m, 40m span)" and "medium span steel box girder bridge (40m, 50m span) general diagram", which was applied in more than 100 units in the province after the release and implementation, and achieved remarkable results, creating a typical case of pilot construction of a transportation power, and promoting it as an advanced experience nationwide.

The second batch of steel bridge general atlas for typical node bridges (across waterways, across high-grade roads, etc.), fully connected with the "Jiangsu Province Highway and Water Transport Safety Centennial Quality Project Creation Demonstration Evaluation Standards" design requirements, systematically carry out the whole life cycle design, standardized design, special design (safety, durability, ecological and environmental protection), digital design and other special research, in the component modularization, digitalization, economy, durability, maintenance convenience, quality common disease prevention and other aspects to make specific provisions, the preparation of the formation of the The general diagram of simply supported steel truss girder bridge (100m span) and the general diagram of simply supported steel-concrete composite box girder bridge (50m span) have improved the general atlas system of steel structure bridges in the transportation industry of our province.

The successful release of the general atlas of steel structure bridges will help improve the technical standard system of steel bridges, ensure the quality of construction, and promote the high-quality development of steel structure bridge construction in Jiangsu Province. The two batches of steel bridge general atlas have been widely used in Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway, Xitong Expressway, Xiyi Expressway, 312 National Highway, 126 Provincial Highway and many other expressway and national and provincial trunk highway projects, which can be used as a model for steel bridge design and effectively support the creation of a century-old quality project of Ping An in Jiangsu Province.
