On June 26, the Jiuliting Street New Era Civilization Practice Sub-center, together with the Jiuliting Foreign Chinese Experimental School, the Street Cultural and Sports Center, the Street Women's Federation and the Street League Working Committee, jointly held the "Love Jiuli, Love Reading" good book sharing meeting and the unveiling ceremony of the Red Scarf Volunteer Service Post of the Civilization Jiuli Warm Heart Pavilion.
At the event site, as a new position for teenagers' extracurricular practice, the Red Scarf Volunteer Service Post of Civilization Jiuli Warm Heart Pavilion was unveiled. In the future, the volunteer service post will provide opportunities for young people to participate in social practice and civilized activities, and create favorable conditions for their development.
Jiuliting Wai Chinese Experimental School signed a joint construction agreement with Jiuliting Street Community Volunteer Service Center. According to the agreement, the school's Young Pioneers will become the first batch of volunteers, and the Jiuliting Foreign Chinese Experimental School has also set up a "Daystar Volunteer Service Team" to participate in the volunteer service of the Civilization Jiuli Warm Heart Pavilion and promote the volunteer work in the street to a higher level. In the future, the school's Young Pioneers will carry out volunteer activities at the Warm Heart Pavilion every Sunday afternoon, passing on the joy of reading to the children and residents of the community through book sharing and book rafting.
In the good book sharing session, Xie Zichen, the red scarf speaker, brought the story of "Hou Shaoqiu", which deeply touched the teachers and students present. The small choir's performance of "Shangchun Mountain" in English pushed the atmosphere to a climax.
In recent years, in order to enhance the cultural soft power of the community, Jiuliting Street has actively promoted the construction of "Scholarly Jiuliting", and has been striving to build a scholarly city by creating a reading space to promote reading for all people. The establishment of the civilized practice post is a new attempt to combine the promotion of reading with civilized practice and volunteer service.
