The Rith Food Network is an integral part of the Revival Rith project and includes three purposeful structures, namely a food center, a café and a food bank. The Food Center is the central focal point and represents the main purpose and achievement of the project.

The Food Center aims to connect sustainability with community engagement. It promotes food security by providing fresh, healthy and affordable agricultural products.

They promote environmental sustainability by utilizing organic gardening practices and help combat climate change by reducing food miles and minimizing transportation-related carbon emissions. It allows individuals to be in contact with nature, reducing social isolation and strengthening community bonds. They serve as meeting places that promote social connection and a sense of belonging for community members. They bring people from different backgrounds together and promote cultural exchange, especially in Leith, one of Edinburgh's most culturally diverse communities. Collaborating in shared spaces encourages collaboration and strengthens community unity.

The project is a community regeneration project in the city of New Haven, Tinburgh. New Haven faces a serious challenge to change in time. With the exception of some undeveloped land, there have been significant changes to both existing residents and newcomers. Both the physical and cultural environments are facing dynamic changes. Therefore, this recommendation addresses emerging challenges and offers potential solutions to mitigate extreme changes and ensure overall sustainable growth.

Interior design should give users more options to experience and make full use of the power of nature in the process of creating space. In this project, I changed the intensity, color, and shape of the light to create different atmospheres to improve the utilization of the space and meet the needs of different users. For example, by changing the height of the tables and the number and color of the lights, a coworking space can be turned into a gathering place for evening activities. The different functional areas of the space have different levels of natural lighting, so that everyone can find their preferred location.

Dream Hub is a student entrepreneurship hub that takes into account the needs of students who are just starting their careers.

The first is the most basic co-working space, which I divide into two areas, quiet and quiet, to ensure that there is a suitable workplace for different users. Meeting rooms are also essential. In order to improve the utilization rate of Kongwen, the co-working area can be turned into an event venue by changing the brightness and color of the lights in Yewen, where people can share their entrepreneurial experiences, etc.

Secondly, the whole social area of Empty Question has different lighting and atmosphere to suit the good of different users.

In addition, I have set up a balcony so that people have the opportunity to enjoy the breeze and bright sunshine while resting.

Students who are just starting out often need to save money on accommodation or are tired of commuting. Therefore, the Dream Center has set up sleeping pods to give students in need a place to rest for a good night. The lounge area is also equipped with lockers to give students a place to store their belongings.

Finally, Kongwen is equipped with infrastructure including barrier-free hygiene, showers, storage rooms and storage spaces, and an entire wall to showcase students' entrepreneurial hobbies.

Sakshi Gulati - The Vessel

The container is a mixed-use space in NESB, serving as the central node of the building and being the focal point, surrounding other spaces such as study areas, cafeterias, auditoriums, art shops, bars, etc. This central hub is adaptable and transformative. My study of the interior discipline revolved around the concept of the circular building and delved into my understanding of the interior as a temporary entity that we pass by through time. In this project, I wanted to depict the plasticity of the interior through materials, space, and function, and to create an experience that changes over time.

Danfeng Hu - Co-Share Hub

From individual development to group development is an intrinsic requirement of campus life. Just like any other traditional community in a city, like-minded classmates need a place where they can interact. The project takes inspiration from the concept of form and flexibility of student activities and translates it into a spatial design.

The flexible space concept aims to create an inclusive social platform and provide a multi-functional space for students to showcase, communicate and learn. With flexible layouts and adjustable facilities, the space can be adapted to different activity needs and stimulate students' creativity and social engagement. The space will be a hub for students to showcase their talents, share experiences, and interact.

I redesigned the middle area of the J floor of the NESB and the middle and right areas of the K floor as exhibition spaces. Create a space for students to express themselves and generate emotions and experiences. Students use exhibitions to showcase their work and expertise, express their ideas and connect with audiences, shape their image and demonstrate their abilities.

The exhibition interacts with the audience through different forms, attaches importance to the human experience, pays attention to the relationship between people and space, and explores the emotions and feelings brought about by the changes in space through different materials, colors, lights and sounds. The exhibition serves as a platform to encourage students to express themselves, break down social barriers, promote attention to student development, and help students build effective connections with society.
