In terms of memory, major memory manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics and Micron raised DRAM prices by 15%-20% in the first quarter of this year, and increased the contract price of DRAM to 13% to 18% in the second quarter (according to TrendForce).

In terms of SoC chips, a person familiar with the matter revealed that "at the beginning of this year, the price of chips on sale such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 has jumped from the previous $160 to $200, an increase of 25%." According to foreign media WCCFtech, the cost of Qualcomm Snapdragon's new generation mobile platform SM8750 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) is expected to surge by about 25%, which is mainly due to the advanced 3nm process adopted by TSMC.     

According to public information, Ace3 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm's third-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship chip + 24GB memory + 6100mAh glacier battery.

Compared to the OnePlus Ace2 Pro, the glacier battery that debuted on the Ace 3 Pro is the highlight. Glacier battery adopts a new generation of silicon carbon anode battery technology, which greatly increases the lithium ion content in the battery compared with the traditional graphite anode battery, and achieves 6% anode silicon carbon content, so as to achieve a large battery capacity of 6100mAh.

Generally speaking, there are two ways to improve the battery life of mobile phones, one is to increase the battery capacity, and the other is to develop fast charging technology. Unlike other mobile phone manufacturers that choose to launch silicon carbon anode battery technology in flagship models and then successively devolve to mid-range mobile phones, OPPO chose to launch its "glacier battery" from the mid-range mobile phone series OnePlus Ace 3 pro. This may be related to OPPO's increased investment in mid-range mobile phones this year.
